Behavioral Health Certificate
Explore how psychology and physical health intersect — and how behavior, decision-making and other factors can influence overall well-being. UNI’s Behavioral Health Certificate builds a foundation in health psychology while drawing from related areas across the health and social sciences.
The certificate is a strong complement to majors in psychology, public health, kinesiology, nursing, social work, family services, communication and related fields. Through interdisciplinary coursework, you can explore topics such as health communication, counseling, stress and coping, physical activity, addictions and family well-being while preparing for graduate study or careers in behavioral health, healthcare, health promotion and other helping professions.
