with Anthropology
Internships, research, clubs, study abroad opportunities and an on-campus historical excavation. Anthropology offers plenty of opportunities for hands-on experience to further broaden your education.
- Conduct Cutting-Edge Research with professors with expertise in medical anthropology, linguistic anthropology, forensic anthropology, archeology of North America and the study of religion, in addition to expertise in China, Japan, Africa, Mesoamerica and Native North America.
- Intern or complete your field experience with the UNI Museum, Cedar Falls Historical Society, Riverview Center and more.
- Dig UNI is contributing to campus history by conducting an excavation on the site where Latham Stadium once stood. A dig on campus raises awareness that archeology sites are everywhere. An excavation demonstrates that campus histories can’t always tell the whole story of a university -- sometimes you have to dig to uncover the remnants of the past.
- The Anthropology Club is a great way to get involved on campus, meet new people and learn more about the anthropology major and career opportunities. The UNI Anthropology Club seeks to provide a venue for students to share and enjoy activities, lectures and friendships under the commonality of the study of us humans. Learn more about the club here.
