What brought you to UNI?

The trauma-focused background of Social Work.

What did you enjoy most about attending UNI?

I enjoyed the company and friendship from a few classmates. I enjoyed the peanut butter Frappuccino's I would get weekly in-between classes.

How did you become interested in your program? 

I wanted to continue helping the Veteran community as we navigate life after the military.

How have you been involved outside of the classroom?

I was involved with helping the homeless outreach and justice-involved Veterans through my internship at the Veterans Administration.

Post-graduation plans?

I plan for employment at the Veterans Administration in the future, for right now, gaining more clinical experience would help fortify the experiences I could bring back to help Veterans.

How did UNI prepare you for your future career?

The trauma-focused experience I received at UNI will help build a great foundation when helping fellow Veterans.

What advice would you give to students currently looking into grad school?

It's easier than you'd believe.
