What brought you to UNI?

ROTC and a smaller school.

How did you become interested in your major? 

I wanted more of a hands-on experience. I was originally a psychology student and I wanted to be able to walk away from UNI with a degree that will guarantee me a job that I love. It also allowed me to complete the master's program in a year instead of two.

What were some of your favorite classes?

Practice in Community Orgs

How have you been involved outside of the classroom?

ROTC, involved with the INSPIRE presentations, presented a Gender violence presentation to the cadets of the program, internship with Waypoint

Post-graduation plans?

Commissioning into the Army as a second lieutenant going to grad school at UNI for a Master's in Social Work on trauma informed care

What advice would you give to high school seniors (and/or transfer students)?

Be passionate and go after what you want. Set those goals and achieve because doing what you love is more fulfilling than being stuck in something you hate
