Angelica’s research interests center on US immigration policies and the intersection between federal and local laws as it impacts immigrant families. Before her academic work, Angelica was involved in immigrant rights advocacy work in Charlotte, North Carolina and Chicago, Illinois. Angelica loves to go on hikes and takes care of her rambunctious cats in her spare time.
