Here, in the heart of Iowa, UNI has developed an industry-responsive program that can move you into a challenging job with advancement potential. Our industry board, based in Minneapolis, keeps us in touch with national and international trends and helps students with internships and job placements. Whether your interest is marketing, design, advertising, product development, sourcing or buying, we have classes and faculty to lead you on your way to success.

Up-to-date industry computer-aided software (2 & 3D) coupled with hands-on apparel and textile design make this a perfect preparation for careers in the industry.

Diverse Curriculum

Students learn a wide variety of marketable skills, including product development and design, merchandising, fashion stylization, photography, trend analysis, branding strategy development and more!

Hands-on Projects

In addition to hands-on design construction, fabric printing and materials testing labs, the program also boasts a popular annual runway show and innovative student-run magazine.
