What brought you to UNI?

One of my best friends, who currently attends UNI, told me about how amazing this university is so I decided to visit and I loved it. The university is the perfect size and I felt at home. I’m really happy I chose to attend UNI.

What did you enjoy most about attending UNI?

I enjoyed making new friends that will last a lifetime.

How did you become interested in your major? 

I became interested in my major after I took Intro to Psychology during my first semester at my community college. The class fascinated me and I loved everything I learned.

What were some of your favorite classes? 

My favorite classes at UNI were Child Welfare Policy and Practice with instructor Jennifer Schmudlach, Women’s and Gender Studies with instructor Molly Cormaney, Foundations of Positive Psychology with Dr. Gary Gute, and Creativity and the Evolution of Culture also with Dr. Gary Gute.

What advice would you give to high school seniors (and/or transfer students)?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions! If you want to know more about something, do the research or ask for help.
