Nursing White Coat Ceremony 2024
Please join us as we celebrate the University of Northern Iowa’s inaugural White Coat Ceremony, honoring the first student members to make history by starting the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
The White Coat Ceremony* is an iconic ritual emphasizing the importance of compassionate, collaborative, scientifically excellent care at the start of medical training. This ceremony marks the beginning of a student’s entrance into the profession into the UNI BSN program and commitment to the nursing profession.
A tour of the new Department of Nursing & Public Health, on the third floor of the Innovative Teaching and Technology Center (ITTC), will immediately follow the ceremony.
