What brought you to UNI?
The scholarships offers and the beautiful campus
What did you enjoy most about attending UNI?
The people that were most influential were all my instructors. They encouraged me to keep trying my best in my studies.
How did you become interested in your major?
I was always interested in why people commit crime and wanted to be able to help people who were in the system.
What were some of your favorite classes?
Some of my favorite classes were juvenile justice, and women in crime.
How have you been involved outside of the classroom?
I had an internship at the boys and girls club of the cedar valley and was involved in the criminology club
Post-graduation plans?
I will be working as a correctional officer at the Iowa Medical Classification Center Correctional Facility in Coralville, Iowa.
What advice would you give to high school seniors (and/or transfer students)?
If you have any problems with your class, make sure you talk to your instructors. They will be glad to help you.
