Stacie Buchanan, MSW

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I received my BA in Psych from Hampton University in Virginia and my MSW (Child Welfare concentration) from UC Berkeley.  Shortly after completing my BA, I moved to NY and started working in at a Group Home in East New York, Brooklyn.  From that job moving forward I’ve focused my career goals around work with children and families.  I feel very honored to have found a career that has been enjoyable, productive and in line with my values.  To take full advantage of leisure time, I enjoy - being with family and friends, laughter, all things Prince, karaoke, travel and Bible study.
