The 24th Annual CSBS Student Research Conference will be held Wednesday, April 12, in Seerley Hall. The conference serves as an opportunity for students to present their scholarly research projects, exchange ideas and learn about recent developments in the social and behavioral sciences.

The conference starts at 2 p.m. and will conclude at 5:30 p.m. Students can participate in poster sessions, oral presentations and panel discussions. This year's conference will feature over 60 graduate and undergraduate students that will deliver 16 oral presentations and 41 poster presentations. The conference will also include a student panel on internships and faculty panel on student research opportunities. The schedule for the conference is as follows:

  • Session I - 2:30 to 3:15 p.m., Poster and Oral Presentations
  • Session II - 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., Poster and Oral Presentations
  • Panels - 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Student Internship Experiences and Student Research Opportunities

The event is free and open to the public, and registration is not required. Faculty and students are welcome to stay for the entire conference or drop by throughout the day. We hope a large number of faculty members are able to attend and show support for the students' endeavors. For more information about the conference, contact Gregory Bruess at or email
