Mr. Dan Kamiller assumed duties as a Military Instructor at the University of Dubuque in 2001.
Mr. Kamiller is a native of Dubuque Iowa and served over 33 years with the Iowa National Guard, retiring as a Colonel. He received his commission from the Iowa Military Academy in 1977 and became an Engineer Officer. In 1981 he branch transferred to Infantry and was assigned to the 133rd Infantry BN where he spent the majority of his career, serving as a Platoon Leader in Company B, Executive Officer in Company A and the CSC Commander. After his command time he served as the S3 and S4 in the 133rd before being assigned as the 2nd BDE S1. He went on to serve as the S2 for the 67th Troop Command and the S3 of the 105th Troop Command before becoming the Executive Officer for the 105th.
He teaches the sophomore levels classes and is responsible for Scholarship and Enrollment at UD.
