Funding Options

GRADUATE FUNDING


 
Graduate students may apply for two types of funding from the University: Graduate College Tuition Scholarships and Graduate Assistantships .
 

Graduate College Tuition Scholarships

Graduate College Tuition Scholarships are available to qualified students who are working towards a graduate degree at the university and covers the cost of their tuition.   To apply complete the Application Form for Graduate College Tuition Scholarships.  http://www.grad.uni.edu/assistantships-graduate-college-tuition-scholarships
 
Qualifications:
    • Must be a full-time, degree-seeking student in the Department of History graduate program.
    • Must be enrolled in 9 graduate-level credit hours.
    • Maintain a Plan and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
    • First semester graduate students must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.00.
 

Graduate Assistantships

The Department has Graduate Assistantships available for qualifying graduate students.  The full-time Graduate Assistantship salary is $10,000.
