Research Interests

Indigenous economy and traditional subsistence, social and economic development, Indigenous social-ecological systems, Indigenous sustainability, vulnerability, global change in remote communities, salmon conservation, climate change, Arctic, Russia, Siberia, Far East, Kamchatka, and Alaska as well as traditional knowledge of Indigenous Peoples of the North and co-management of natural resources. 

Human Geography: economic geography, assessment of human capital in Indigenous regions, regional analysis, planning, and development of the territory of traditional land use of Indigenous Peoples of the North.
