CSBS Student's "Interlude Dance" Sweeps The Nation

Posted on Friday, June 10th, 2016

The College of Social and Behavioral Science was astonished to read that one of our very own students was recently featured in the Des Moines Register. Ian Goldsmith, a senior psychology and theater double major, was one of the original creators of the "Interlude Dance", which has developed into a UNI tradition. The dance made its debut at a UNI men's basketball game one year ago and has since become a national movement. The "Interlude Dance" has been shown on ESPN and referred to in national sports publications; it also has received nearly 200,000 views on YouTube. Goldsmith, currently serving as the Vice President of the Student Body, along with his fellow "Interlude" masterminds have established a growing sensation among UNI's student body that is well on its way to becoming a worldwide phenomenon.
