Dr. Julian looks forward to building a relationship with each student she has the honor to teach.

In addition to being an adjunct instructor at UNI, Dr. Julian is an adjunct instructor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and the University of Iowa. She is also an owner and therapist at Nashae Julian & Associates Psychotherapy Services. Previously, she was an assistant professor at Northern State University and a college counselor at Kirkwood Community College. 

Dr. Julian has received training in sex therapy, trauma counseling, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. 

Dr. Julian is married and has two teenage children and three dogs. She enjoys backpacking in the summer, skiing in the winter, and biking year-round.
