Andrew Eisenman
Assistant Adjunct Professor of Counseling
Professor Eisenman believes in the power of relationship-building to effect positive change in the world. His passion for advocacy and networking has made him an influential voice in his field.
Professor Eisenman is a professional school counselor and counselor educator with experience working with diverse student populations in both domestic and international settings. His previous professional experience includes being a high school counselor at Cedar Falls High School and the American Creativity Academy in Kuwait, a faculty lecturer at Upper Iowa University, and an adjunct instructor at Bradley University.
Professor Eisenman’s commitment to the counseling profession is further demonstrated through his involvement in leadership roles with the Iowa School Counselor Association and the North Central Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. His work has centered on advocacy, relationship-building, and fostering systemic change to support student success. He has provided training on topics such as Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), working with diverse learners, and closing the achievement gap.
