Join the Department of Political Science for their annual scholarship benefit for women majoring in political science. The scholarship is supported by the Women in Politics Scholarship Advisory Board, co-chaired by Doris Kelley and Rev. Cathy Young.

Event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn and feature guest speaker, Courtney Maxwell Greene, director of external partnerships and community engagement for Unity Point. Courtney worked for 15 years in television broadcast news as a reporter, producer and anchor in Des Moines, Iowa and Kansas City, Missouri. She also spent several years in Iowa state government doing communications as press secretary for the Iowa Governor, as public information bureau chief and spokesperson for the Dept. of Public Safety and communications director and division administrator for Iowa Workforce Development.
